Terms of Service

PDFStream AI is provided by Pierre Kull ("we", "us"). By creating an account or continuing to use the service you agree to these terms. If you use PDFStream AI on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation. If you use it as an individual, you confirm you are of legal age in your country.

PDFStream AI lets you upload PDF, Word, JPG and PNG files and uses automated analysis, including artificial intelligence, to extract text, tables and key values, detect the document type and produce a structured report you can export as PDF, JSON or CSV.

You must provide accurate registration information and keep it current. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account, including use of any API key issued to you.

You must not:

• use the service unlawfully, fraudulently, or to send spam;
• upload content you do not have the rights to process;
• infringe intellectual property or privacy rights of others;
• interfere with the service's security — no malware, probing, scraping or circumventing limits;
• reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the service;
• attempt to bypass plan limits, rate limits or usage metering.

Summaries, extracted values and reports are produced automatically and may be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for the content you upload, for verifying output before relying on it, and for having the rights to the material you process. Output is not legal, financial, medical or other regulated professional advice and should not be used as such without human review.

We may remove or restrict content, refuse or filter output, and suspend accounts where content or use breaches these terms. Rights holders can contact support@pdfstream.ai to request a takedown; repeated infringement leads to account termination.

We retain all rights in the service, its software, documentation and branding. You retain all rights in the documents you upload and the data extracted from them; you grant us a limited licence to host and process that content solely to provide the service to you. Within your plan you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the interval you chose (monthly or yearly) until cancelled. Payment, billing, tax, invoicing, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Plan changes mid-cycle are pro-rated. If a payment fails, your subscription enters a 7-day grace period; if payment is not completed within that period the account is moved to the Free plan.

We work to keep PDFStream AI available and accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You can stop using the service at any time and delete your documents from the dashboard. After termination your data may be deleted; export what you need first.

To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim. We exclude indirect, consequential or special damages, including loss of profits, data or goodwill. Nothing limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury where the law does not allow it.

You indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your unlawful use of the service, or your breach of these terms.

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app. These terms are governed by the laws of the seller's jurisdiction, and disputes go to its competent courts. You may not assign your rights without our consent; we may assign in a merger or acquisition. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control.
